I never understood why a person who despises homosexuals is defined as "homophobic."

To begin with homophobia comes from the greek "homo" (equal) and "phobeia" (fear), fear that is the equal, and this is unfair, I mean, if someone who despises homosexuals on the street sees another who despises homosexuals that is not a panic attack and runs away like hell. Unless the other person who despises homosexuals do not despise them because it's homophobic.

And then I did not understand that part of your phobia. A phobia is an irrational fear and dislike, but most of those who despise gays despise them for a reason quite rational: that guy might be attracted to me, and that its intentions may be violating my sphincter, and I despise anyone who might even hypothetically want to violate my sphincter.
